Title

Cancer Care Standards

ASCO develops and publishes evidence-based standards to provide frameworks for best practices in cancer care. They can inform policies and procedures in the healthcare setting, internal quality assessment, and external quality monitoring. ASCO standards are developed based on a systematic review of the literature by a multidisciplinary panel. Standards are reviewed on a regular basis to assess their currency and validity. Submit a topic for standards development; suggested topics will be reviewed annually by ASCO.

The process for standards development is available in the ASCO Standards Policy and Procedures Manual.
